A self- contained wing offers 2 bedrooms. One en-suite double room is on the ground floor with another double room with its own bathroom upstairs.
Guests have a spacious living room with open fireplace and French windows leading to a patio. The kitchen has all the welcome of an Aga with a bay fronted dining area offering lovely views over the acre of mature landscaped gardens.
Breakfast is served using fresh local produce and home-made marmalade for B & B bookings only. Special dietary needs can be catered for.
A hard tennis court will be available at most times along with table tennis, boule and croquet.
Higher Ansty is almost equidistant from Blandford (10 miles to the east), Sherborne (to the west) Dorchester (to the south) and Shaftesbury (to the north). The famous Milton Abbey and Milton Abbas village lie around 4 miles to the south east.
